- Foundation of the Company.
1977 - Take-over of the Company by Mr M.Oleggini
and Mr J.P. Leguen.

Company focus on the manufacturing of UV instruments
for the industry

for the molecular biology.
1981 - Vilber Lourmat is leader in France and start
to expand in Europe and in Japan.
1985 - Extension of our distribution network to
the USA.
1986 - Japan is our first market.
1987 - Extension of our distribution network in
Asia.
1990 - First Gel-documentation system.
1991 - First Bio-Profile software.
1995 - First stand alone gel-doc system
1999 - Vilber Lourmat is leader in Europe and in
Asia
2002 - ETX electronic transilluminator for enhanced imaging
2003 - New Chemi-Smart systems for chemiluminescenc
imaging
2004 - Introduction of the fabulous Infinity system
2005 - Creation of our office in Germany: Vilber
