High UV Radiation

Thanks to our special lamp glass filters and coating.

Long Lifetime

Thousands hours of light.

Unique Electrode

Technology for enhanced reliability.

Constant UV Spectrum

Over the complete lifetime.

Wavelength’s Curves

Our original UV tubes emit highly concentrated Uv radiation. They use a special ultraviolet ray glasses which efficiency transmit the ultraviolet rays.

Wavelength’s Curves

Find our Wavelength’s Curves of our UV Tubes. The Ultraviolet spectrum extends from 180 to 380 nanometers (nm) and is divided into three categories. UV-A, UV-B and UV-C.

UV-A: The long wave or UVA ranges from 320 to 400nm, with a peak at 365nm. They are less aggressive to the eyes and skin and are mainly used in fluorescence applications.
UV-B: The medium waves or UVB range from 280 to 320nm, with a peak at 312nm. They are mainly used for the fluorescence of DNA or RNA.
UV-C: The short waves or UVC, are between 180 and 280nm, with a peak at 254nm. The radiation of the C zone is characterized by an important germicidal power. They are very dangerous for the eyes and the skin.

(1) After 100 hours lighting. Total amount of the ultraviolet from 200 to 380nm.
(2) The useful life is defined as when the ultraviolet ray output becomes 60% of the initial output (measured after the first 100 hours lighting).
Such measured are made in a continuous lighting pattern model. It does not include potential switch on / off. Higher is the number of switch on, lower is the useful life of the UVA tubes.

The UV light source emits powerful UV light at a center wavelength of 254, 312 or 365 nm. Do not expose yourself to UV rays. Never look directly the UV source with unprotected eyes. UV rays can cause eye and skin damage, eyes inflammation, vision problems and early skin aging or cancer. It can also cause allergies or allergic reactions in the eyes and/or skin. Never try to stare at the light source. The use of any medication or cosmetics can increase sensitivity to UV rays. If you have taken any medication, have a history of skin disease, or are suspected of being sensitive to sunlight, consult a physician before using this system. When the light source shines, it is mandatory to wear appropriate protective equipment. Protective equipment includes, for example, safety glasses or full face protection for the eyes, rubber gloves for the hands and long-sleeved clothing. UV tubes contain mercury, which must be recycled or disposed of in accordance with your local regulations.
